Maxxian implements first production CounterStryx systems for Scientific Atlanta DNCS

Maxxian is pleased to announce the first production deployment of CounterStryx systems for Scientific Atlanta DNCS systems, along with complete support across the CounterStryx Audit, CounterStryx Operations Center and CounterStryx HQ products.

“This is a major change for the cable industry”, says RJ Juneau, CTO of Maxxian. “It's not just DNCS support – it's full support for a mix of DNCS and DAC systems from a single CounterStryx HQ system. Users can punch in a Motorola or Scientific Atlanta serial number on the same screen, and get the same set-top and account information and CounterStryx diagnostics status. No retraining required.”

The integrated CounterStryx HQ reporting now provides management reports by individual DAC or DNCS system, across all systems, or across business units that can comprise parts or all of any DAC or DNCS system covered by the CounterStryx HQ systems.
